Light the wood burner in here during the colder months, then settle down to spend cosy evenings in together, perhaps in front of a good film on the Smart TV.

When mealtimes beckon, wander through to the adjacent kitchen/diner. Prepare hearty feasts for your party in this beamed space, then dine together around the central table. At the end of each day away in Yorkshire, follow a few steps down to the sleeping quarters.
