Located on a working farm in the village of Jervaulx, this beautiful cottage is in a stunning setting and makes a peaceful escape for two. It has a wrap-around garden and patio, a hot tub, and a BBQ, as well as cosy interiors, underfloor heating, and a wood burner. And it's perfect for going on beautiful walks, and exploring Jervaulx Abbey and Masham.

The stylish single-storey cottage was once a cattle shed and still has lots of character, it's bright and attractive throughout with lots of thoughtful touches. Go into the welcoming open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, which is lovely and light with comfy sofas, a Smart TV, a wood burner, exposed beams, and French doors to the patio. There's a large kitchen area with plenty of space and everything you need to prepare tasty meals, including a slow cooker, and a dining table and chairs for enjoying your creations.

The airy super-king-size bedroom also has a door outside, as well as a Smart TV and storage, and there's a contemporary shower room with a walk-in shower. Outside, relax in the hot tub on the veranda and enjoy the views, fire up the BBQ and dine alfresco on the patio, and potter in the fenced/walled garden. There's also secure storage for bikes and walking gear and a wash station for muddy dogs.

Explore the Dales and Rover Ure on walks and bike rides from the door, visit Aysgarth Falls (14.5 miles), and discover the ruins of the 12th-century Cistercian Jervaulx Abbey (1.5 miles). Head into Masham village for a local supermarket, tearooms and a bakery, and book a tour of the Black Sheep Brewery (3.5 miles). Explore the cafes and shops in Bedale (9.5 miles) and the market town of Leyburn (7.5 miles).
