Step into the lounge and you'll spot the wood burner as the focal point of the room, as well as comfortable seating and a Smart TV. Underfloor heating ensures you'll have cosy toes whatever the weather outside.

This room flows through to the dining area and then the kitchen, which has a large pine dresser and pretty tiling. On the first floor the double bedroom has a delightful metal bed and hanging space in a built-in niche, while the family bathroom is an absolute star: a free-standing slipper bath with a separate, walk-in shower. For the king-size bedroom, head up to the second floor, where you'll be impressed by the gorgeous A-frame beams and the bright, airy space.

The mature garden includes lawn and a raised patio, with a brick BBQ standing at the ready for you to grill your favourite treats and enjoy an al fresco meal. The small village of Little Urswick lies just 2.5 miles from the coast and 4 miles from the vibrant market town of Ulverston, where you'll find shops, pubs and places to eat, as well as the unique Laurel and Hardy Museum. Also 4 miles away is the Bronze Age Birkrigg Stone Circle, while the southern tip of Lake Windermere is just 12 miles away.
