Just 10 miles from the centre of Newcastle, set over three stories and boasting a range of high-end amenities, this spacious house by the sea sleeps eight people across four bedrooms. With the sights and sounds of the North Sea close by, and with a host of recreational, historic, natural and cultural attractions dotted in and around this scenic pocket of Northumberland, it is well suited to foodies, water sports fans and nature lovers, history buffs, walkers and sports fans. As well as its enviable location and two allocated parking spaces, the house offers inviting living areas, underfloor heating, en-suite facilities and a hot tub within its enclosed garden.

The bright kitchen/diner, complete with underfloor heating, an island and a large dining table, enjoys refreshing views of the coastline, a place for idle gossip, popping corks and enjoying restorative meals to a soundtrack of crashing waves. Expect regular get-togethers up on the first floor, it's lounge home to a couple of large sofas (one a sofa bed) and a captain's swivel chair ideal for people/ bird watching. A double bedroom and the family bathroom sit close by.

The second-floor landing is home to another captain's swivel chair for quiet relaxation, and leads to a double bedroom enjoying sea views and an en-suite shower room, a double bedroom enjoying dual-aspect views, and a double bedroom with a TV and Nintendo Wii, which overlooks the garden. French doors in the kitchen/diner lead to a split-level enclosed garden, where you can enjoy a BBQ on the patio after a soak in the eight-seater hot tub. An al fresco morning coffee and a flick through the paper can be enjoyed on the patio at the front of the house.
