A coastal walk brings you to the historic Collingwood statue, and Tynemouth Castle and Priory (1.2 miles) overlooking the headland and long pier.

Browse in Tynemouth's historic Front Street and weekend covered market. Long Sands beach (1.5 miles) is great for surfers and dog walks, and Whitley Bay, and St. Mary’s lighthouse are close by (3 miles), and ride the Metro into Newcastle (9 miles).
