From most of the windows, you'll be able to admire the Yorkshire countryside. Downstairs, you'll have an open-plan living area that's perfect for socialising, eating, cooking, reading, watching TV and playing board games together.

The wood burner and underfloor heating ensure you stay warm and comfortable. Outside, you'll have a sunny courtyard that's great for breakfasting al fresco, an indulgent hot tub and a shared paddock where the dog can zoom to her heart's content. When it's time to venture beyond your cosy abode, take day hikes through stunning, unspoilt countryside within the Nidderdale AONB (1 mile).

Within 3 miles you can wander around the gorgeous monastic ruins at Fountains Abbey, located within the wider Studley Park that's great for peaceful walks. Or take a historical stroll around the moated manor house at Markenfield Hall (5 miles) Ripon is wonderful for shopping and its iconic cathedral, Harrogate's Turkish baths, upmarket shops and welcoming cafés are just 11 miles away.
