Romance and relaxation will come easy during your escape in this charming dog-friendly couple's cottage with a sociable open-plan layout, a wooden, beamed ceiling, and countryside surroundings. Enjoy a holiday filled with sunset strolls around the nearby deer park, riverside picnics, and adventures in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Step inside and find yourself in an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner which is decorated with neutral tones and kept bright from natural light pouring in through the windows.

To one side of the space is a ‘L'-shaped farmhouse-style kitchen with wooden worktops. Prepare a home-cooked meal to enjoy at the intimate dining table for two. Also in this area is a plump sofa and a TV.

Continue into the king-size bedroom with minimalist decor and ambient lighting. Completing the interior of the cottage is a shower room. Outside, you will find a private garden with a picnic bench and BBQ.

During your stay in the village of Aldfield, take a walk along the River Skell and explore the 18th-century medieval Fountains Abbey before soaking up the tranquil sights from Surprise View & Anne Boleyn's Seat and follow the walking trail around the Temple of Fame to Seven Bridge Valley (3.5 miles). Spot the wildlife at the Studley Royal Deer Park (2 miles) and don't miss a trip to the National Trust's Brimham Rocks (6.5 miles) with 400 acres of moorland and unique rock formations. You could also treat yourself to a meal out in the cathedral city of Ripon (3.5 miles).
