Retaining plenty of original features including exposed beams and a roaring wood burner, this delightful retreat is perfect for walkers, hikers, cyclists, climbers, photographers and nature lovers seeking a fantastic base for visiting the great lakes of Windermere and Coniston.

Decorated in fresh shades, this traditional cottage features a spacious and welcoming lounge with a Smart TV, wood burner, comfortable seating and a choice of games and books, making a lovely space for everyone to sit back and chat about the day. Exploring further, you can rustle up and share all your favourite family meals in the fully equipped kitchen/diner. There's also a light-filled conservatory, where you can unwind and catch up with a good book.

Going upstairs, you will find three bedrooms, all with exposed wooden beams: you can choose between a king-size room, a double and a twin. There's also an invigorating family bathroom. Heading outside, the delightful south-facing garden is fully enclosed and has a small lawn and a choice of outdoor furniture.

Spark Bridge has some welcoming pubs and is close to plenty of popular attractions including the Lakeland Motor Museum, Blawith Knott, Langholme Mill Gardens, Hay Bridge Nature Reserve, Stott Park Bobbin Mill and Holker Hall and Gardens (all within 8 miles). Ulverston is within easy reach (5.5 miles), as are the southern edges of Windermere (6 miles) and Coniston (3.5 miles).
