Escape to this cosy cabin in the woods, located in between three stunning areas of The Lake District – Grasmere, Ambleside and the beautiful Langdale Valley, all within 5 miles. This property offers fantastic scenery, walks and bike rides straight from the front door. Wray Castle is only 4.5 miles away, offering breathtaking views over Windermere Lake and a great family day out.

Tarn Hows itself is also 4.5 miles away towards Hawkshead (6 miles) and makes for a beautiful place to walk. Grasmere is steeped in history with the William Wordsworth Museum (6.5 miles) and some of the best gingerbread which dates back to the 1630’s! Closer to home, you can enjoy walks along the River Brathay, starting at Skelwith Force, (0.5 miles) straight through into Elterwater (2 miles) and the Langdale Valley (3 miles).

For evenings out or a refreshing beer, your local is only a short walk away, (0.5 miles). Heading up the steps into the trees, you will find the entrance to this wonderful property. Once inside you are welcomed by the open-plan kitchen/diner and cosy living space with everything you need to rustle up a delightful family dinner or romantic meal for two.

Enjoy breakfast at the dining table whilst looking out through the windows where you can spot the local wildlife. The lounge itself is perfect for snuggling up on those cooler evenings whilst watching the TV or enjoying a summer breeze from the patio. The two bedrooms are tucked away and include a bunk room with bunk beds, perfect for children.

The double bedroom is a cosy space with plenty of storage. You can wind down your evenings with a bubble bath, and start the day refreshed with the overhead shower. Outside, you will find a patio area with seating to enjoy views over the woodland.
