Stylish lighting and warm pops of colour balance against cool blues, and nautical touches bring a bit of the beach inside with you. If you are after the real thing, just grab your towel and wander down to the awaiting ocean below.

Newquay is home to a great number of well-renowned beaches, where splashing about in the shallows is as popular as the more adventurous surfing and kitesurfing. The historic harbour is less than a mile from the cottage, and is the ideal place to indulge in something sweet in one of the waterside cafes or to sample some freshly-caught fish in one of the excellent seafood restaurants. Days out include a golf course, karting and sailing, as well as the famous Newquay Zoo and Blue Reef Aquarium.
