There's plenty of space for Fido to rest his head too, while on chillier nights a wood burner will keep paws and toes toasty warm. When it's time to eat, the large kitchen offers an array of modern appliances, and you can chat to your loved one while rustling up a hearty meal before gathering at the handsome table in the dining room.

Come bedtime, an ornate double bed awaits with homely extras including bedside tables and lamp lighting. With no traffic or neighbours to disturb you, you'll be sure of a peaceful night's sleep. In the morning, freshen up in the immaculate bathroom then step into the fenced garden to enjoy the sound of birdsong in the surrounding trees.

Let Fido stretch his legs on the lawn while you relax and soak up the stunning views. Enjoy countryside walks and bike rides straight from the door or head to the moors and explore the beautiful landscape. There are plenty of traditional market towns and pretty villages within the national park including Hutton-le-Hole (6 miles) with its pub, tearoom and craft shops.
