Spend the afternoon strolling along Saundersfoot Beach (9 miles); grab some fish and chips to refuel then head along the Pembrokeshire Coast Path for breathtaking views.

The National Trust's Colby Woodland Garden (6.5 miles) is well worth a visit, as are Picton Castle Gardens (11 miles). If you're an adventurous couple, head to Llys y Fran Lake (12 miles) where you can go open water swimming, cycling, hiking and even take part in axe throwing or archery.
