Situated in a tranquil spot between the historic villages of Goytre and Mamhilad, this cheery retreat lies along the banks of a canal, providing an ideal base for walkers, cyclists and nature lovers discovering the region's breathtaking countryside.

Entering this delightful property, you will be greeted by the generous and airy open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. To one side, the lounge has a Smart TV, wood burner and ample seating, while the central farmhouse-style dining table is perfect for sharing celebratory meals which you can rustle up in the beautifully equipped kitchen. Stepping outside, the enclosed patio area has a picnic bench perfect for dining alfresco on a balmy summer's day. The picturesque villages of Mamhilad and Goytre are both within a mile, offering friendly pubs and beautiful walking trails.

Goytre Wharf (2 miles) lies along the Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal, a great spot for fishing, boat hire and canoeing. The Brecon Beacons National Park offers spectacular views, perfect for eager walkers and climbers. There's a wealth of family attractions in this spellbinding region including the Big Pit National Coal Museum, Raglan Castle, the Blue Lagoon, and Clydach Gorge, all within 11 miles.
