As you step inside this converted single-storey barn, you'll notice the airy and elegant feel from its high ceiling and skylights. The kitchen area boasts a sleek grey and white fitted ‘L'-shaped unit with plenty of surface space for a team effort at mealtimes. Next to this is a contemporary dining table which benefits from natural light through the glass patio doors.

On the other side of the room is a snug lounge area with two plump sofas surrounding a coffee table and a Smart TV. There are two bedrooms to choose from – a super-king-size zip-and-link with an en-suite and a twin room. Completing the property is a contrasting dark and light bathroom with a shower and bath.

Outside, you can dine alfresco on the paved patio with furniture. While away your time in the area of Rhosbodrual on the outskirts of the Welsh port town of Caernarfon. Head into the centre of this royal town (1.5 miles) to discover an array of eateries, the historical Segontium Roman Fort and the World Heritage riverside Caernarfon Castle.

Stroll around the marina and follow the Lôn Las Menai walking trail along the river. Explore the sandy beaches, national trust sites and nature reserves of Anglesey (8.5 miles). Visit Snowdonia National Park to find Mount Snowdon (16.5 miles) and Llyn Cwellyn Lake (10 miles).
