Property Summary

Beautiful and spacious cottage looking out over rolling fields and forest with stunning walks to enjoy, also a great spot for cyclists. And market towns and Ceredigion coast are within easy reach.

Enjoying a secluded spot in the West Wales countryside, this beautifully updated stone-built cottage makes a fabulous hideaway for couples and smaller families, with plenty of space for guests bringing lots of dogs along. Offering ample space for up to four human and five canine guests (more by arrangement) the property lies on the fringes of the ancient Brechfa Forest. Surrounded by breathtaking countryside with miles of wonderful walks, this bright and cosy getaway features an inviting wood burner, stone flooring and A-frame beams in the high vaulted ceiling, and makes a fabulous bolthole for exploring an unforgettable part of Carmarthenshire.

A large tiled hallway has ample space for leaving boots and bikes, and features a handy utility area. A couple of steps lead up into the spacious open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. With double-height ceilings, this is a characterful space for you to unwind in after a memorable day out.

The lounge has a wood burner, Smart TV and comfortable seating, perfect for relaxing in and chatting about the day’s events. There’s a cheerful dining area, ideal for sharing meals which you can prepare in the beautifully arranged country-style kitchen. Three steps lead up to an inner hallway leading to the two cosy en-suite bedrooms: a pretty double and a lovely super-king-size room.

The enclosed garden has a patio and outdoor furniture with a BBQ, providing a cheery spot for taking in the surrounding scenery. There’s also a large paddock for exercising your four-legged friends. The picturesque hamlet of Llidiad-Nenog is surrounded by fields and woodlands, with Norwood Gardens, the National Wool Museum and Talley Woodlands all within 15 miles.

Heading west, the pretty town of Llandysul has some charming places to eat and drink, or you can head to bustling resorts including Aberporth, Aberaeron and New Quay, all within 25 miles.
