Adrenaline junkies should head straight for the rides at Alton Towers (7 miles), while those in search of a spot of culture should visit Haddon Hall (20.5 miles) or Chatsworth House (23 miles). Closer to home, the local village pub is just 1 mile from the property - the perfect way to round off a long walk.
