Perfect for a family of four on their first visit to the area, this charming stone cottage is in an ideal location, 4 miles from the picturesque village of West Linton. Boasting the best of both worlds, the cottage is set amidst a rural landscape with uninterrupted views, yet close enough to Edinburgh (20 miles) for you to visit and enjoy a day in Scotland's enchanting capital city. Inside the cottage is smart and stylish, with beautiful care and attention lavished on all aspects of the decor.

The ground floor is bright and elegant, completed by underfloor heating throughout, while upstairs sloping ceilings, exposed wooden beams, and a delicate colour scheme create a calming environment. Enter the cottage and get dinner started in the kitchen/diner. With its neutral-tone cabinets, painted wood-panelled walls and French doors letting in plenty of natural light, it has a traditional homely feel to it.

Cook up a storm and gather around the table to eat. Once everyone's finished and the plates have been cleared, cross the hall to the sunny lounge. Light the wood burner in the corner and settle into a sofa.

Relax with a family film on the Smart TV, or make a hot drink and curl up with a good book. Also, on the ground floor there's a shower room. Both bedrooms are on the first floor, along with a bathroom where you can finish your evening with a soak in the bath or a soothing hot shower.
