Cheddar, with its spectacular gorge, is only three miles away.

The hills offer walks with breath-taking scenery but for those preferring more gentle activity the bird reserves to the south provide easier accessibility. Nearby Wells, is home to a glorious cathedral, the beautiful Bishops’ Palace gardens and a weekly market. The retail outlet of Clark’s Village in Street has proved very popular with some guests and further afield historic Bristol and Bath have many unique attractions.

For those who love to breathe some sea air the coast is less than 10 miles away offering some good walking and the chance to get sand between your toes. This comfortable barn conversion is approached by a private drive and is surrounded by secluded gardens.
