There is an abundance of walks literally on the doorstep, including a footpath to the village of Croscombe with its pub and shop, 2 miles by road. For golfers, Wells Golf Club is 3 miles and The Mendip Golf Club is only 1.5 miles, which also has a restaurant.

The town of Shepton Mallet and Wells (England's smallest city) are both 4 miles, whilst Glastonbury renowned for its Tor and Abbey Ruins, is just 10.5 miles. Slightly further afield is the historic city of Bath at 17 miles. The coastline of North Somerset is 20 miles and offers a range of wonderful beaches for seaside adventures.

Enter this rustic, stylish, single-storey retreat and into a light and airy open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with a comfortable seating area, Smart TV and large sliding doors, boasting delightful views of the surrounding country landscape. The stunning, well-equipped kitchen has all the facilities you could need to cook a lazy breakfast, or a delicious family meal. There are two bedrooms, both beautifully decorated – pick between the master king-size bedroom and a twin bedroom.

Completing the immaculate accommodation is a contemporary shower room.Heading outside to the enclosed garden, there is a patio complete with garden furniture, and a chimenea – it is an ideal space in good weather with views over the surrounding countryside. The hot tub is particularly inviting at night when guests can enjoy the warm bubbling water under the starry skies. There is the additional benefit of a lovely paddock for guests to walk their dog.
