There are endless walking trails to explore in the area, including the long-distance Shropshire Way, while nearby attractions include Ludlow Castle (17 miles) and the National Trust's Attingham Park (11.5 miles).

The exceptional barn conversion seamlessly blends characterful, original features with contemporary decor and design, and has been carefully configured for increased accessibility. Inside, a warm welcome awaits thanks to cosy underfloor heating and a roaring wood burner. Enter the holiday home via the porch, where you'll find ample space to store all your outdoor gear, before heading through to the magnificent lounge/kitchen/diner.

This sociable space features an impressive, vaulted ceiling and has double doors opening directly onto the garden. Along one wall is a sleek, fitted kitchen with everything needed to create delicious dinners, which you can share around the large, wooden dining table. In the corner is a cosy lounge area with comfortable sofas, a wood burner, and a Smart TV.

The property has three tastefully decorated bedrooms on this level; a twin with sliding doors to a stylish wet room, a king-size with a Jack-and-Jill shower room, and, down a few steps, is a twin room with an en-suite shower room. The remaining bedroom is a bright and inviting super-king-size that's set under a sloping roof on the first floor. Outside, the enclosed garden has been designed with entertaining in mind, with a choice of areas for al fresco dining or relaxing in the sunshine.

There's also a gate leading to a paddock where four-pawed guests can burn off steam. The historic market town of Church Stretton is 6.5 miles away and has a great range of independent shops and eateries. Just outside the town is Caer Caradoc, which is a beautiful spot for walking with panoramic views.

To the west of the town is the National Trust's Carding Mill Valley and the Long Mynd, where you can enjoy long walks and bike rides with breathtaking views, or swim in the tranquil reservoir.
