Step into the lovely, light and bright lounge/diner with comfy sofas and a TV for relaxing evenings in. When stomachs start to rumble, set the table that sits in the light of the French doors and move through to the well-equipped kitchen where you’ll find all you need to whip up a feast for the group. Completing the ground floor is a convenient WC.

When day turns to night, head upstairs where three delightful bedrooms await, all served by the well-appointed family bathroom. Choose from a king-size bedroom, a welcoming double room, and a cosy twin. Outside, grab a seat or a sun lounger for a snooze on the large, decked area while the kids and canines potter in the garden, which is enclosed for your privacy.

Fire up the BBQ and enjoy evenings dining under the stars alfresco-style. Explore the local, golden beaches such as Wiseman’s Bridge (1.5 miles), which you can walk to through the woods. Saundersfoot (3.5 miles) also has a beautiful, sandy beach perfect for paddling, and you can pick up the Pembrokeshire Coast Path for stunning walks and scenery.

Visit Tenby (7 miles) to go shopping, go on a fishing trip, take a boat trip to Caldey Island, or have a go at kayaking, canoeing and coasteering. For thrill seekers, Heatherton World of Activities (6 miles) offers carting, paintballing, and treetop trails.
