Take full advantage of the breathtaking Northumberland Dark Skies as the property is set in beautiful, open countryside, just outside the village of Rock - while on the other hand, you are also near the glorious Northumberland coastline and stunning beaches too - with popular Embleton and its golden sandy beach only about 10 minutes away by car and Low Newton by the Sea (Famous for The Ship Inn, set right on the beach) only about 15 minutes! There is a dog friendly café round the corner from the property which is a perfect spot for you and your furry friends.

The cottage is easily reached from the A1 so, getting here is easy and so is exploring the area. The popular market town of Alnwick, with its spectacular Castle and The Alnwick Gardens is only a 10 minute drive. Likewise, Bamburgh’s magnificent Castle, golden beaches and quintessential English village with its range of local, independent shops, renowned restaurants and of course, The Grace Darling museum, are all within easy reach.

Take a trip to the Holy Island of Lindisfarne, across the causeway, to see Lindisfarne Castle and Priory - as well as taste the delicious Lindisfarne Mead.
