Amble, also known as the friendliest port, is a small fishing town with a huge personality. Nestled on the Northumberland coast, it's an excellent base for a holiday in our beautiful county. Take a boat trip from the bustling harbour to Coquet Island, a RSPB nature reserve located just off the coast, and see the colourful puffins, rare roseate terns and appealing grey seals.

Back on dry land, stroll around the attractive harbour shopping pods selling bespoke and unusual gifts and why not sample the culinary delights of freshly caught seafood and local produce at The Old Boat House or Sea&Soil bistro's - both local favourites.
