There is a bus stop nearby for the Transdev Coastliner route to Whitby. The Coastliner also runs to Yorkshire's Food Capital Malton, then on to York. Sealife nearby, and Flamingoland is also within easy reach.

The open theatre which hosts musical events is within walking distance. The property is perfect for families,sports guests,nature lovers,birdwatchers and history buffs. Scarborough Castle is nearby and Flamborough has the oldest operational lighthouse in the UK.

The stately home Castle Howard where Brideshead Revisited was filmed, is only 31 miles away. Bempton Cliffs is an RSPB nature reserve with viewing platforms to watch the Puffins, Gannets and Guillemots (seasonal). The Sports Village is only a 10 minute drive with football pitch, gym, virtual cycling and sports hall for table tennis,badminton and netball.
