Outside, you will have a choice of two patio areas, perfect for a BBQ or sitting back to read a book as you take in the wonderful views of the dales. The friendly village of Summerfield is just a mile away, lying along the banks of the River Nidd and offering some wonderful rural walks. Nidderdale lies to the south and east of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, with local attractions and landmarks including Stump Cross Caverns, Ripley Castle, The Coldstones Cut, Fountains Abbey and Percevall Hall Gardens all within 20 miles.

Ripon is to the east (12 miles), known for its cathedral and racecourse. Heading south, the bustling and historic town of Harrogate (12 miles) has a wealth of fabulous places to eat and drink, and is home to RHS Garden Harlow Carr, the Turkish Baths and the Royal Pump Room Museum.
