This delightful stone cottage overlooks lovely rolling countryside on the edge of the Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Comfortable and beautifully furnished, it sleeps four guests and is ideal for a family, with a hot tub in the garden and scenic walks on the doorstep. The single-storey holiday home sits next to the owners' property on a 200-acre working farm, surrounded by open fields.

The spa town of Harrogate (10.5 miles), with a wealth of attractions, and the glorious Yorkshire Dales National Park are both within easy reach. Climb stone steps to the front door of the wonderfully light and airy open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. This bright space has superb distant views and comprises comfortable sofas, a country-style dining table and stylish kitchen.

There are two spacious bedrooms, comprising a super-king-size and king-size which can both be made up as twin beds. Each one has an en-suite shower room and a charming blue and white colour scheme, with lovely period items of furniture, including pine wardrobes and a pretty rocking chair. Outside, enjoy the beautiful view while relaxing in the hot tub or on outdoor furniture in the enclosed garden.

Nearby Lindley Wood Reservoir is a haven for wildlife, so keep eyes and ears peeled on a circular trail through an unspoiled and peaceful landscape. Be inspired by the splendid gardens at RHS Harlow Carr, just outside Harrogate. The 58-acre site is a magnet for garden lovers and there are lots of fun activities for children.
