Enjoy watching the chain ferry at work or, if you are lucky, the swing bridge in operation.

Nearby, Pettits Animal Adventure Park, less than 1.5 miles away, is a great day out for all the family, or there are plenty of walks into the local marshlands. This gorgeous property, set over two levels, is a real home-from-home and seamlessly blends old-style rustic with a contemporary feel. The vibrant city of Norwich is 17 miles away, offering plenty of shopping options along or explore the famous Cathedral and the historic castle. Swim, surf or build sandcastles at the superb sandy beach at Gorleston-on-Sea (15.5 miles).
