Just 2.5 miles away, the bustling market town of Alton combines charming historic architecture with modern shops, cafes, and restaurants. The nostalgic Watercress Line steam railway departs from Alton, winding through scenic countryside and quaint villages like Ropley and Alresford.

You can also stroll through the fragrant Lavender Fields at Hartley Park Farm or venture into Alice Holt Forest – both less than 7 miles away. In Selborne (4.5 miles), visitors can hike the renowned zig-zag trail, admire the landscapes, explore the hangers, or visit Gilbert White’s House and The Oates Collection.
