Amble down to the beach, cycle through the Dysynni Valley and enjoy the many beauty spots of the North Wales coast when you stay at this hideaway in Tywyn. Sleeping five guests, the three-bedroom cottage sits within the vibrant town and within Eryri, also known as the Snowdonia National Park. Tywyn also overlooks picturesque Bae Ceredigion, or Cardigan Bay, and is just 4 miles from picture-postcard Aberdyfi.

Bring a canine companion with you and stretch furry legs on long walks by the sea or through the countryside. Open the front door and stroll into the open-plan lounge/diner. Make yourselves at home in this comfortable space, where you can sit back on the soft seating to watch TV, listen to music and make plans for your next Welsh adventure.

The kitchen/diner is well arranged for preparing meals with the local produce you have bought in town and for pausing at the table with a cup of tea and slice of sweet bara brith bread. For more formal meals gather through in the main room. A utility room and a WC can also be found downstairs.

As day turns to night, climb the open-tread, wooden staircase up to the floor above to lay your head in the double bedroom, the single or the twin, which has an en-suite shower room. There is also a family bathroom, with a rolltop bath for hot, bubbly soaks after your excursions. Enjoy the sunshine out on the patio during the warmer months.

Dine out here and open a bottle of wine on summer evenings. Hire bikes in Tywyn and strike out on routes through picturesque Eryri. Potter in the shops, dine out and catch a steam train along the Talyllyn Railway.

Swim, bask on the sand and hire stand-up paddle boards at the town's beautiful beach.
