It's also a great base for running fans as the Snowdonia Marathon takes place close by, as does the Snowdon Race (or Ras yR Wyddfa). For those wanting a more sedate break, the lovely garden and terrace are perfect for a relaxing sundowner after a happy day exploring, or a contented day relaxing with a cuppa and the views! If you want to explore North Wales, Frondeg is a great holiday cottage to base yourselves.

Being a short drive from the popular University town of Bangor, it is the ideal base for visiting the many attractions of North Wales, including the famous Zip Wire in Bethesda. The Snowdonia National Park, Anglesey and the Llyn Peninsula are all on your doorstep. Llanberis and Caernarfon, with their many and varied attractions, great walks and cycle routes, as well as fab places to eat and drink are within a 15-minute drive or less!
