Head to medieval Rye (3 miles) for an afternoon’s exploring where you will find cobbled streets lined with independent shops selling antiques, freshly caught seafood and delicious coffee.

For those looking to explore further afield, nearby Hastings (12 miles) offer plenty of family fun and seaside attractions or head to Bodiam Castle, Great Dixter House and Gardens, and Port Lympe Safari Park which are all within 20 miles.
