This stylish retreat for two enjoys a peaceful location, just 1 mile from the vibrant seaside town of Hornsea. Enjoy walking a cycling directly from the property, or head to the coast to explore the dramatic trails around Bempton Cliffs and Flamborough Head (22 miles). You'll also be near some of East Yorkshire's finest beaches, including the hidden gems of North Landing (21 miles) and Mappleton (3 miles).

In the evenings, sip a sundowner in your private patio garden. The single-storey barn conversion is located on the owner's working farm. Inside, you'll find a stylish abode with sleek furniture, little pops of colour in the soft furnishings, and a plethora of homely touches to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

The main living area is open plan, featuring a contemporary kitchen with everything needed for a self-catering break and a breakfast bar for sharing mealtimes together. There's also a statement sofa to snuggle up on at the end of the day, as you watch a film on the Smart TV. When day turns to night, retire to the inviting double bedroom for a good night's rest.

A refreshing shower room completes the accommodation. Outside, the enclosed patio provides the perfect spot for an al fresco supper on a summer's evening. The charming seaside town of Hornsea boasts a long, sandy beach backed by a promenade, and has a great range of independent shops and eateries.

Just outside the town, Hornsea Mere provides a tranquil spot to unwind. Here, you'll find Yorkshire's largest freshwater lake – where fishing, sailing, and rowing are available – as well as a fascinating RSPB reserve. Heading inland, the attractive market town of Beverley (13 miles) makes a lovely day out, with its historic buildings, cosy pubs, racecourse, and excellent shops.
