Located in a secluded spot in the Dorset Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, this charming Victorian cottage makes a tranquil getaway for up to eight guests. Perfect for a group of friends or a larger family with younger children, the property is surrounded by superb landscaped gardens offering acres of land for children to run and play. Ideally situated for families, nature-lovers, walkers and cyclists, this tastefully furnished retreat makes an excellent self-catering holiday base.

The house is close to several beautiful nature reserves, as well as some quaint towns and villages. The glorious Dorset coastline is just 6 miles to the south, offering some stunning beaches, quiet coves and breathtaking cliff-top walks. Entering this inviting property, a couple of steps lead down into the coolly decorated and refreshing lounge which has plenty of seating, a Smart TV, Wii and a wood burner, making this a fantastic space to snuggle up in the evening.

Patio doors offer delightful views of the extensive garden. Exploring further, the kitchen/diner has slate-tiled flooring which adds to the rustic farmhouse style of the house. The kitchen is fully equipped so you can prepare your favourite meals which you can share in the charming dining area which has ample space for eight guests.

Upstairs, the first floor has four cosy bedrooms. The peaceful king-size room has an en-suite bathroom, and there’s also a restful double room. There is a bunk bedroom perfect for children as well as a twin.

Accessed via three steps, the bunk bedroom and twin also have plenty of books to choose from at bedtime. The main bathroom is also on the first floor. There are terraces on both sides of the house, with the terrace to the rear featuring outdoor furniture and a BBQ, making this a lovely spot to sit back with al fresco drinks in the evening.

Beyond this, the garden stretches out with large lawns providing plenty of space for games, and there’s a woodland area to explore, with swings and ropes to play on.
