Enjoying an idyllic location on the edge of the picturesque Dorset village of Corfe Castle, this traditional cottage makes a wonderful holiday home for families and friends. Providing ample accommodation for six guests – and with plenty of space for three canine companions as well – the cottage has wonderful views of the castle itself and is perfectly situated for exploring Corfe Common. Beautifully furnished throughout, with original exposed beams, this tastefully decorated property makes a fabulous base for exploring the spellbinding Isle of Purbeck.

A few steps lead up into this delightful cottage, where you will find the cosy, welcoming lounge. This is an ideal space to relax in at the end of a wonderful day, complete with an open fire, TV and comfortable seating. Exploring this pretty cottage further, the charming dining room is perfect for everyone to gather for a fantastic family meal which you can enjoy cooking in the light and fully equipped kitchen which features a range-style oven.

Upstairs are three refreshing, light and soothingly decorated bedrooms: two double rooms and a twin. There's also a stylish first-floor bathroom, plus separate WCs on each floor. A patio area is directly behind the cottage, with steps leading up to the back garden and a second patio area providing a lovely spot for al fresco dining.

From the garden, the gate leads onto the footpath taking you directly onto Corfe Common. The village of Corfe Castle has a great choice of pubs and restaurants, or you can head up the hill to explore the ruins of the castle. The popular Victorian seaside resort of Swanage is nearby (5.5 miles) and there are miles of wonderful walks to enjoy across the many local nature reserves.

Local attractions include Lulworth Castle, the Tank Museum and Monkey World (all within 11 miles).
