Formerly part of Charmouth’s Almshouse, this semi-detached cottage is just half a mile from the dog-friendly sandy beach. Perfect for family holidays with the dog, the cottage boasts good-sized homely rooms and a delightful sunroom for reading. In the summer, enjoy BBQs in the charming garden with views of rolling countryside or dine at the local pub.

Prepare home-cooked meals in the traditional shaker-style kitchen and dine at the large antique table in the lounge next door. After a busy day on the beach, put your feet up on one of the comfortable sofas nearby. Lazy afternoons can be spent with a good book in the sunroom, which opens onto the stunning cottage garden.

Brimming with old world charm, the village is home to pubs, cafes, a Post Office, bakery and convenience store while the beach is famous for its fossils. Stroll along the beach to reach the popular coastal town of Lyme Regis or head east to reach the Broadchurch-famous West Bay (9.5 miles) and the bustling market town of Bridport (8 miles).
