Dog friendly cottage, sleeps 4 - Otterton, Devon

Between the stylish Regency town of Sidmouth and the Victorian resort of Budleigh Salterton in one of Devon's most beautiful coastal valleys is the picturesque village of Otterton. Otterton Mill, on the approach to the village is a working water mill, powered by the River Otter, around which has grown up a cafe serving good food, a gallery showing local arts and crafts, and a venue where popular music nights take place. Robin Cottage, at the end of the main street leading through the village is a Grade II listed, thatched property.

This sweet cottage has masses of charm, you'll find a wood burning stove in the comfortable lounge and in the smart kitchen/diner a farmhouse style wooden table and chairs. A wooden, spiral staircase leads to the first floor and two attractive bedrooms, a double with views over the garden and a twin bedroom at the front of the cottage. The garden is sheltered, enclosed and mostly laid to lawn with a small patio area, table and chairs.

The beach at Ladram Bay is only half a mile away, where pale grey shingle contrasts against the deep, rich, red cliffs and you can join the South Devon Coast Path. There is a pet surcharge - 30 GBP per pet/ per week.

Accommodation Summary

Ground Floor: Lounge. Kitchen/Diner. First Floor: Bedroom 1 with king-size bed.

Bedroom 2 with twin beds. Bathroom with bath, electric hand shower, WC and washbasin. Hanging space is available in Bedroom 2 but a wardrobe is not provided.

TV/DVD, WiFi. Cot, highchair and stairgate available on request. Bed linen and towels included free of charge.

Parking is on a quiet road. Lawned garden with small seating area. Up to two pets accepted.

There is a pet surcharge - £30 per pet/ per week. No smoking. Shop/Pub 350 yards.
