In summer months, you can even enjoy your dinner alfresco, with garden furniture and a charcoal BBQ provided in the patio area. For the best of the countryside, head into Dartmoor National Park which you can explore on foot, bicycle, or even on horseback thanks to the local riding stables. Here you'll also find plenty of trails to keep the whole family entertained, from letterboxing to mystery treasure trails.

Exmoor National Park is 20 miles away for those wishing to complete the two tors while in the area. The market town of Okehampton is 7.5 miles away, offering an eclectic array of shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs.
