Whether you're off to the pub less than half a mile away or enjoying a drink from the garden room, everyone will find their favourite spot here. The interiors are fresh and bright with stunning uneven stone walls and rustic woods and brick dotted throughout. The lounge is filled with light during the day thanks to the bay window, but close the blinds and light the wood burner in the evening and it's the perfect place to relax in.

The second-floor double bedroom is the one to nab with fabulous sea views in one direction and countryside views in the other. Make sure you take a ride on the Lynton and Lynmouth Cliff Railway; the top station is only half a mile from the door. The National Trust's Watersmeet (3.5 miles) features a dramatic river gorge and over 40 miles of footpaths for you and the family to explore.

Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park (11.5 miles) is a hit with kids since you can see animals and dinosaurs living side by side! Ilfracombe (19 miles) is a fantastic day out, featuring boat trips from the harbour, an aquarium and fascinating beaches.
