This contemporary apartment near the stunning North Devon coast offers a great place for a romantic retreat. The setting is relaxing and peaceful allowing you to chill out and enjoy a slower pace of life. It's situated near Bicclescombe Park on the outskirts of the seaside town of Ilfracombe, where Damien Hirst's 20-foot high statue, Verity, watches over the bustling harbour.

This property makes an ideal base from which to explore everything North Devon has to offer, from moorland to beaches, towns to countryside. This stylish first-floor flat has been tastefully decorated with cool, calming tones and contemporary furniture. A flight of stairs leads you up to the open-plan living/kitchen/dining area, which is well-designed to make the most of the space.

This space can be extended by opening the bi-folding doors out on to the balcony where you'll find comfortable furniture to lounge in and beautiful views down the garden. The stylish double bedroom can be found off the living area with the shower and WC. If you want to stretch your legs, you can wander to the stream at the bottom of the enclosed garden which is accessed via a flight of steps.

The Victorian town of Ilfracombe is within a mile of the property and has plenty to offer, including boat trips, clifftop walks and a variety of places to eat/drink. Exmoor National Park is also nearby, with picturesque Lynton and Lynmouth and their unique cliff railway 20 miles away. The South West Coast path passes through Ilfracombe, offering scenic walks and breathtaking views of the stunning coastline.

Blue-flag beach Woolacombe with its miles of golden sand and clean surf is also worth a visit (6 miles).
