(22.5 miles) or Saunton Sands (32 miles), or explore the ancient cobbled streets of Clovelly (23.5 miles).

Or, head south to take on the wild and rugged Dartmoor National Park (10 miles), home to fantastic walking routes, breathtaking views and tempting rural pubs.
