Step inside the stone barn to find stylish accommodation, with features such as exposed beams and a slate floor. Head through to the kitchen to unpack the fresh produce you have bought and prepare the next delicious meal for your party. Serve up at the large table in the elegant lounge/diner.

There is also ample room in here to play games with the children, catch up on your favourite boxset on the Smart TV and listen to music through the stereo. When you are ready for a superb night's sleep, make your way to one of the beautifully finished bedrooms. These include a king-size and a twin, both with Smart TVs.

The twin can also be made up as a super-king-size by prior agreement and there is a cot bed suitable for a child aged five or younger. The bedrooms share the family bathroom. Have morning coffee or afternoon tea on your private patio in the warmer months.

Make a day trip to Westward Ho!, 18 miles away, to go swimming or surfing from the long, golden beach. Impressive Widemouth Bay, 16 miles away, is also a picturesque place to take to the waves or picnic on the sand.
