Enjoying easy access to the South West Coast Path, Dartmoor National Park and Bodmin Moor, this dog-friendly barn is ideal for active groups seeking a comfortable base from which to discover Devon's endless array of cultural, historical and natural gems.

The two-storey barn sits at the end of a hedge-lined country lane that meanders its way through undulating farmland peppered with woodlands as far as the eye can see. The barn's attractive stone exterior is beautifully complemented by its bright and airy interior, which is filled with contemporary soft furnishings that stay true to the building's roots. Stepping into the main hallway you will find a utility room to the side and then be met with a spacious cinema/games room.

It's only a few pawprints from here to the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, an impressive space with vaulted high ceilings, comfortable sofas arranged around a wood burner and plenty of room for enjoying hearty meals. Elsewhere on the ground floor are two bedrooms - an en-suite twin and an en-suite king-size with French doors leading outside. An oak staircase leads up to the first floor, home to an en-suite king-size bedroom enjoying dual-aspect country views, a cosy en-suite twin bedroom and an en-suite king-size bedroom.

Bude (13 miles) is typical of the vibrant seaside towns in the area and is great for a day at the beach.

Both destinations are on the South West Coast Path, a haven for walkers. Dartmoor National Park and Bodmin Moor (within 20 miles) are heaped with historical and natural attractions and are worth it for the journey alone.
