Set in its own idyllic grounds, the cottage is a fabulous retreat within easy reach of the delightful market towns of Matlock and Bakewell.

Entering this picturesque cottage via the stable-style door, you will find the fresh and inviting open-plan kitchen/diner. The lovely lounge is an ideal space to snuggle in the evening and catch up with a good book or watch a film. There's also a handy breakfast bar and a light and fully equipped kitchen perfect for cooking your favourite meals.

Going upstairs, the first floor features two rooms with low sloping ceilings: a stylish bathroom and a cosy double bedroom with a TV. Heading outside, there's a choice of outdoor furniture offering a lovely, relaxing spot for enjoying some al fresco dining at the end of a great day. A flight of external steps leads up to an elevated seating area offering spellbinding panoramic views.

Nestling between the pretty village of Tansley (1.5 miles) and the popular market town of Matlock (3 miles), this lovely barn conversion makes a fabulous base for walkers and cyclists exploring the stunning vistas of the Peak District. Matlock has a welcoming choice of independent shops, pubs, restaurants and cafes. The village of Matlock Bath is a couple of miles further on, and is home to attractions including the Heights of Abraham and Gulliver's Kingdom.

Other local attractions include Hardwick Hall (12.5 miles), Crich Tramway Village (4.5 miles), and the beautiful estate of Chatsworth House (10 miles).
