"Once part of a thriving bobbin mill, this delightful Lakeland barn conversion is now part of Ings Mill Park – a beautifully landscaped area Ings is a small hamlet near Staveley, 2 miles from Windermere, and 6 miles from Kendal, on the A591. The road is one of the country's most scenic, as well as providing easy access to the highlights of the Lake District. The entrance hallway with cloakroom / 2nd WC, leads to the contemporary oak kitchen / dining room with slate floors and lots of character.

The living room has cosy deep-cushioned sofas and a large picture window - originally the barn door. There’s a ground floor single bedroom and modern house bathroom with shower over bath. Upstairs to the king-size double bedroom and twin bedroom.

Outside, the private fenced patio is furnished for drinks or meals al-fresco. Nearby Staveley, in walking distance, is the gateway to the Kentmere Valley, with a thriving community of walkers and cyclists as well as a foodie destination: Wilf’s café, Hawkshead Brewery. More?
