It is 0.5 miles from the shores of Derwentwater and 2 miles from the marina, where you can hire boats and take cruises.

Make your way up to your apartment via the staircase to let yourselves into your new home from home. The apartment offers bright, airy accommodation where you can relax together after your days out walking or on the water. Wander into the lounge/diner to unwind after each adventure.

Play games together, watch the Smart TV and decide where to go the following day. Head through to the kitchen to make cups of tea, pour glasses of wine and prepare tasty meals. Dine together at the table and perhaps remain here for a hand of cards afterwards.

When day turns to night, wander through to the double room or the bunk bedroom to lay your head on your pillow. There is a family bathroom where you can soak in a long, hot bubble bath after your vigorous walks or hill climbs. There is no garden with this apartment but green, open space is within 200 metres.

Walk 1.5 miles to climb to the summit of Latrigg or 2 miles to see the famous Castlerigg Stone Circle. Spend a day following the 10-mile route around the shores of Derwentwater and book tickets to enjoy a play at the theatre by the Lake.
