The property is within easy walking distance of all the village amenities and attractions, and is proud of its heritage and links to Beatrix Potter and William Wordsworth. Coniston Water and Lake Windermere are both situated within a short drive of the property and offer plenty of opportunities for boat rides, water sports, and scenic walks around their shores, or visit Grizedale Forest which is just a few miles south of the village and offers stunning walks, fun Segway hire, a sculpture trail and a Go-Ape climbing centre. As you enter this property you will be immediately struck by the design used to create something really special in this historic building.

The entrance hall offers plenty of space for walking gear and is perfect for drying coats and jackets. The glass door leads to the contemporary kitchen/diner. The kitchen area is well-equipped with electric oven and induction hob, dishwasher, fridge, freezer and washer/dryer, and a Smart TV and the L-shaped island creates a booth perfect for sharing romantic meals together.

A sliding door leads to a contemporary shower room with shower and WC. The oak staircase leads up to the first floor where you will find the light and airy lounge, contemporary design, craftsmanship, the use of slate and oak combine to create a very special room. Guests can enjoy the views of the hills while relaxing on the soft leather sofa or venture out onto the balcony and enjoy the scenery and a coffee.

The pebble effect gas fire creates a cosy ambience and the Smart TV and sound system are perfect for unwinding at the end of the day. Continuing upstairs to the second floor a door leads you into the king-size bedroom with high ceiling and bespoke oak furniture. There are lovely views of the fells from both windows, a Smart TV and a beautiful en-suite bathroom with bath and WC, the perfect place to relax after a busy day walking and exploring the Lake District.

Heading outside there is off-road parking for one car directly behind the property.
