Rothay Cottage, a three-storey home, consists of a kitchen/diner with an electric oven and hob, cafetiere, coffee machine, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, a dining area, and a second-floor sitting room with TV and DVD player. The bedrooms consist of a king-size and a second-floor twin, along with a bathroom and cloakroom. Outside, there is a rear garden with patio and furniture, plus roadside parking available nearby property.

Welcome pack – cloth, scourer, dishwasher tablets, bin bags, washing up liquid included. Sitting room – amazing views over Ambleside, Wansfell Pike and Baystones, smart TV, selection of maps, books, games and jigsaws. 2 well behaved dogs welcome.

Parking – roadside parking available on Millans park, free overnight 6pm to 10am. Daytime - local 1 hour free disc parking - parking discs available free from local shops. Vehicle access to directly outside the cottage door is available but limited to loading and unloading as shared with other cottages.

Parking permit available in the property allows parking in several public car parks. Wifi in the property. No smoking.

No electric car charging at the cottage – charge points are available in Ambleside. Note: check in 3pm, check out 10am. Note: Due to the cottage age, style and character the staircase has smaller than modern treads.

(There are 2 steps leading into sitting room and twin bedroom), this cottage is not suitable for children under 4 years old and for guests with limited mobility. Note: Cottage is off Millans Park up a small incline, small gravel road with minimal street lighting. The cottage has an outside light.
