Hidden just a few miles from the historic medieval village of Tintagel, this attractive property boasts an ideal location for exploring the Atlantic coast and all of North Cornwall's treasures. And at the end of a long day, come home and relax with your feet up in front of the cosy wood burner. Head inside this charming single-storey cottage and discover the stylish open-plan layout, with everything you need at your fingertips.

Settle down on the comfortable sofas in the living area, pop the TV/DVD on, and spark up the wood burner for the perfect evening in. On the other side of the room, the well-equipped kitchen will provide you with all you need to prepare a family meal, which can be enjoyed around the friendly dining table. At bedtime, choose from a pleasant king-size bedroom or a pretty twin room.

There is also a handy shower room with WC. A small patio area with a bench lies on the exterior of the property, and guests can enjoy a shared 5-acre paddock with lovely scenery. If beaches are your thing, the golden sands and natural caves of Trebarwith Strand are just 2.5 miles away.

However, the famous Tintagel (3 miles) is undeniably the main attraction of the area. This breathtaking village, set high on the cliffs of North Cornwall, offers dramatic sea views, mysterious Arthurian legends to explore, and a new 60-metre footbridge connecting the mainland to the island on which the spectacular Tintagel Castle can be found. There's even fun to be had down at sea level thanks to the intriguing Merlin's Cave.

Elsewhere, there are plenty of traditional Cornish fishing ports to enjoy, such as Boscastle (5.5 miles) and Port Isaac (9 miles) – where TV's Doc Martin was filmed!
