Bude has three gorgeous sandy beaches that are great for surfing, so bring your water sports equipment and bucket and spades for traditional seaside fun.

If paddleboarding is more your style, then head to the canal for a day on the water. As you step into this inviting property, you enter a welcoming downstairs hallway with doors leading to an open-plan living area. This spacious lounge/kitchen/diner is perfect for unwinding and socialising.

Relax on the plush sofas, pop a log on the wood burner, and catch up on your favourite box set on the Smart TV. Triple-aspect windows allow natural light to flood in. The dining area adjacent to large glass doors offers a delightful spot to enjoy meals while soaking in the view.

Further afield, enjoy The Milky Way Adventure Park (14.5 miles), great for kids looking for a day away from the beach. Delve into Cornish legends at the ever-popular Tintagel (20 miles) and Boscastle (16 miles).

Walkers can join the South West Coast Path at Bude for pretty walks along breathtaking coastal scenery.
