This traditional cottage in the heart of Polperro makes the ideal base for friends or family looking for a charming cottage with bags of character close to a beach. Your canine companions are welcome at the cottage, which has two en-suite bedrooms (one on the ground floor), an enclosed roof terrace, and a private garage, and is close to everything in the quaint fishing village. Steeped in history, you’ll find original features alongside contemporary styling and furniture and thoughtful touches throughout.

Go into the hall and through to the stylish lounge, with a Smart TV, and comfy sofas. The galley-style kitchen/diner has contemporary fittings, including a Nespresso Vertuo Plus coffee machine, and a rustic dining table and chairs for four. One of the bedrooms is on the ground floor, a king-size room with a wardrobe, a Smart TV, and an en-suite shower room.

Bedroom number two, a king (or twin) room, is upstairs, it has a large wardrobe, a Smart TV, and an en-suite shower room. Both bedrooms also have dressing gowns, and there’s a cosy office space/snug with a work station and armchair which goes out to the enclosed roof terrace. On warm days, sit outside on the spacious outdoor seating under the parasol and soak up the view of the river.

Visit Polperro’s beach, shops, pubs, and restaurants, and uncover the village's maritime past and smuggling history at the Polperro Heritage Museum. Book a boat trip from the harbour to explore the coastline or explore on foot on the cliff-top South West Coast Path. Visit Talland Bay (4 miles) for sunbathing and water sports, head to the towns of Looe (4.5 miles) and Fowey (7.5 miles) to go shopping and eat out and be sure to discover the incredible Eden Project (21.5 miles).
